CHILDREN’S HUNTER DIVISION
USEF”C”, NEHC, MHC”A”, SEHA Rated Division Fee: $60.00 or $35.00 per class
To be shown by junior exhibitors. Junior exhibitors 15-17 years of age and must be eligible for Intermediate Equitation Over Fences as of December 1st of the current show year. Height of fences 3’ for horses; small/medium ponies 2’; large ponies 2’6” with spreads not to exceed fence heights. If entries warrant, the division may be split at the discretion of management. Same horse/rider combination cannot show in any other rated division, except Equitation. Horses may be shown by another rider in any other division or section at the same show except Junior Hunters. Ponies may not cross enter into the regular pony hunter division. Children’s Hunter riders may not show in any class where the fence heights exceed 3’6” at the same show. Jogging for soundness at the discretion of the judge. Division may be divided if 6 entries in each.

PRE-CHILDRENS HUNTER DIVISION
NEHC, MHC”C” Rated Entry Fee: $30.00 per class
Open to Junior riders. Riders may show horses or ponies. Fence height 2’0”-2’3”. At the same show, horse/rider and pony/rider combinations may not cross enter into Children’s Hunter Horse/Pony, Pony Hunters or any class where fences exceed 2’6”. No combinations permitted.

ADULT AMATEUR HUNTER DIVISION

To be ridden by amateurs who are no longer eligible to compete as Junior Exhibitors.
Horse/rider combinations are not eligible for any other USEF rated classes. Horses may be shown by a different rider in any other division or class at the same competition. To be judged on performance, soundness, manners, way of going, size of rider to mount, and suitability as an Adult Amateur Hunter. Horses and ponies may be jogged for soundness at Judge’s discretion. Height of fences 3’, spreads not to exceed height of fence. Ponies may be ridden by adults, suitability to count. Division may be divided if sufficient entries. Divisions may be divided if 6 entries in each.

JUNIOR WORKING HUNTER

Open to horses over 14.2 hands, ridden by junior riders. Fence heights o be 3’6”. All classes to be judged on performance and soundness with emphasis on manners. Extreme speed penalized.

PRE-GREEN HUNTER DIVISION
USEF, MHC Unrated, NEHC “C” SEHA Rated Division Fee: $50.00,$25.00per class
Open to horses only of any age that have not jumped 3’6” including equitation at a recognized USEF show and is not a First Year, Second Year or Regular Hunter under USEF rules. A horse may show as a Pre-Green Hunter for no more than 2 years once it has reached 4 years of age. Fences not to exceed 3’0”.

WALK TROT PLEASURE & EQUITATION
NEHC, MHC Class 85-90 “C” Rated
Open to riders 10 years of age and under. Open to horses or ponies. May be shown under English or Western tack. No child may compete who has previously entered in a class requiring entries to canter or lope.

85. WALK TROT PLEASURE HORSE OR PONY. Entry Fee: $20.00
To be shown at a walk, trot or jog ONLY. To be judged on manners, suitability of horse to rider and performance. Entries may not canter or lope when on show grounds

86. WALK TROT PLEASURE HORSE OR PONY . Entry Fee: $20.00
Same specifications as class #85.

87. WALK TROT PLEASURE CHAMPIONSHIP. Entry Fee: $25.00
Same specifications as class #85. Must have entered and shown in either class #85 or #86 to be eligible.

88. WALK TROT EQUITATION. Entry Fee: $20.00
Open to riders 10 years of age and under. Shall show at a walk, tort or jog ONLY.
No child entered may compete in any other class requiring entries to canter or lope at any previous show. Any child entered in these classes is eligible to enter the Walk Trot Pleasure classes.
89. WALK TROT EQUITATION. Entry Fee: $20.00 Same specifications as class #88.

90. WALK TROT EQUITATION CHAMPIONSHIP. Entry Fee: $25.00
Same specifications as class #88. Must have entered and shown in either class #88 or #89 to be eligible.

91. SEHA WALK TROT MEDAL Entry Fee: $25.00

MISCELLANEOUS CLASSES
USEF Unrated, Classes 92 – 96 NEHC Rated, Classes 93 – 99 MHC Rated

92. NEHC OPEN PLEASURE HORSE/PONY. Entry Fee: $15.00
Open to members and non-members, open to all horses ordinarily used for pleasure purposes with no limitations as to status of rider, or place of residence. To be shown at a walk, trot and canter. Will be required to back. Shall be judged on manners, performance and quality in that order. Loose rein on command of judge only, but without loss of contact.

93. HUNTER PLEASURE OPEN. Entry Fee: $20.00
Open to all horses of a hunter type ordinarily used for pleasure purposes with no limitations as to the status of rider. To be shown at a walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring. Light contact with the horses mouth is required. To be judged on manners, performance, suitability to rider, presence, substance and soundness.

94. HUNTER PLEASURE CHAMPIONSHIP Entry Fee: $25.00
Same specifications as class #93.

95. HUNTER TYPE PET PONY. Entry Fee: $20.00
Open to riders under 14 years of age. To be judged on manners, performance and quality at a walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring. $15, $10, $5, $5

96. HUNTER TYPE PET PONY CHAMPIONSHIP. Entry Fee: $25.00
Same specifications as class #95. Must have entered and shown in class # 95 to be eligible. $20, $15, $10, $5

97. LEADLINE Entry Fee: $15.00
Open to riders 6 years of age and under who may not have competed in any other class at any recognized show, except Leadline. To be judged at a walk trot both ways of the ring. To be judged on equitation only. Leader to be on foot and must be over 18 years of age. Handler and rider must be in proper attire.

98. LEADLINE SUITABILITY Entry Fee: $15.00
Open to riders 6 yrs of age and under. Suitability of mount to rider to count.

99. LEADLINE CHAMPIONSHIP Entry Fee: $20.00
Must have entered and shown in either class #97 or #98 to be eligible.

WARM-UPS (Unjudged)
Entry Fee: $15.00 1st Round. $10.00 2nd Round.
One round consists of 10 jumps. Warm-Ups to be unjudged between 6:30 – 8:00 A.M.
These classes will be supervised schooling classes only; unstructured; no more than 10 horses or ponies allowed in the ring at one time. Riders must have a number to enter.

101. WARM-UP Ring 2 – 18”
102. WARM-UP Ring 2A – 2’6” – 3’0” (In Ring 2A ONLY, Warm Ups will be from 6:30 AM until completion of Class #94.)

Cash winnings do not influence this classification. Horse/rider combinations showing in jumper classes where fences are over 3’6” are not eligible for Children’s/Adult Jumpers.

Sections may be divided by age of rider if sufficient entries warrant.
